Nigel, Elaine and Joella from Shropshire. Staying in Minstrel Cottage 16th - 23rd April 2006.

Absolutely wonderful cottage - absolutely wonderful holiday. Special items left for our arrival were very much appreciated. You really know how to impress your guests. Thoroughly recommend the beach at Coverack - full of interesting things for the children to do (rock pooling - caught lots of crabs for instance). Good food and welcome at the Top House in Lizard-worth a visit. Will be back.

The Strange family. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 29th May - 4th June 2006.

What a lovely holiday-great weather-lovely homely cottage-very relaxing-Coverack a wonderful place.

We have had a wonderful week at Minstrel Cottage and all the thoughtful touches make it so special to stay here-the toys, video & DVD's, the fairy dress & pirates, the bedguard, children's plates and cutlery, teddy bears - thank you so much! The Aga has been indispensable for drying towels and wetsuits so quickly they are dry again to use later the same day. Tom has said it has been his best holiday ever!

The Barham Family from Somerset. Staying in Minstrel Cottage 29th July - 5th August 2007.

Thank you so much for a fantastic holiday. After so much miserable weather we have had a glorious week. We arrived in the sun and it didn't stop shining. Coverack was just as we remembered it from a few years ago but staying in Minstrel Cottage made this stay even better. The views from the cottage are stunning. Pasties from Elizabeth's are fantastic, really worth a try. I think that's enough from me except, I don't want to go home!!! Thank you for everything.

The Jenkins Family from Blundellsands, Liverpool. Staying in Minstrel Cottage 5th - 19th August 2007.

This has been a very special holiday in the singularly picturesque village of Coverack. We have been fortunate to stay in Minstrel, an idyllic cottage, which is, without doubt, the best we have stayed in on our many visits to Cornwall. The weather has been extremely good for the major part of our time here, which has been an added bonus. Thank you so much for the hard work and attention to detail which has really made this a memorable holiday. We hope to be back very soon.

Lucy & Gary Ballands. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 26th November 2007.

After four long weeks of searching the internet for the "perfect, rural, romantic, cosy retreat" I found it!!! A birthday surprise - which we will repeat again and again. We feel fortunate to have found each other - then to find "Minstrel Cottage" is just unbelievable! (re-named B'day Cottage). Fantastic weather - soft beds - sea views with a cuppa - hard 2 beat. Fire was great - cliff walks wonderful but culinary skills on the Aga was the best X.

Miss Burton (13) and Fmaily. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 10th - 17th August 2008.

I am so grateful for my mum and dad bring me, my brother and sister to this magnificent cottage. I loved my room and it had a really nice view. I was so excited when when my mum told me we would be coming to this exact cottage next year. The cottage is so warm and cosy. We brought loads of towles and stuff but then realised we didn't need them because there were, as you know loads on the beds. We all liked the little gifts around the home. Thanks we hope to return :)

Sally & Andy Spicer. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 7th - 14th September 2008.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our week at Minstrel Cottage and have lots of lovely memories to savour of what has been our honeymoon. We have spent lots of lazy mornings enjoying the views from the window seats with a cup of tea and lots of cosy evenings in front of the fire after a day's walking. Thank you so much for a truely special holiday.

I have had the best few days in a long time and the cottage is fantastic and I felt very at home and relaxed here (just what the doctor ordered!). Great views to wake up to & great walks. The people of Coverack are wonderful, very friendly and were a pleasure to meet especially Olive yates and Harold ther fisherman. All in all fabulous.

Another wonderfully relaxing week at Minstrel Cottage. Spent most of the week in Coverack & great day at Kynance Cove. Went to The Maritime Museum in Falmouth on the only wet day which was v. good. Thanks for a lovely cottage - waking up to the sound & smell of the sea everyday is the best thing of all!

A beautiful way to spend a week. Wonderfully comfortable cottage and fantastic location. Good food at The Paris Hotel & pretty much everything we needed here in Coverack. Lots of time on the beach and lots of fun. Alex (13) wrote....I enjoyed my time in Coverack hugely. Me and my brother spent hours playing cricket on the beach and swimming in the sea which was'nt that cold. My bedroom (3rd on the right) was nice and cosy like the cottage itself. The people are very nice and The Wave is an excellent internet cafe (we recommend the chicken and bacon mayo). Many thanks to David for being such a nice handy man! Thanks for a great holiday! Cecily (7) wrote....Thank you for a cosy bed. I really enjoyed the lovely books and the nice DVD's. Henry (9) wrote....What a great beach and a great time. Coverack also has good shops.

The Aitken/Maier family from Basel in Switzerland. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 12th - 19th July 2009.

The hoped ideal set-up has indeed proved ideal, with both Grannies staying in Little Ship and everyone finding activities (and inactivity) to suit them in the area. The weather has been a mixed bag, which has meant we've enjoyed the beach on day and the Coverack DVD in front of the fire the next!

The Burns/Jones/Gilbert family from Northamptonshire. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 19th - 26th July 2009.

Beautiful cottage and location. Very relaxing! Fishing in the harbour, snorkelling in the bay, walking the coast path, exploring the village and even seeing dolphins at Lowland Point - perfect! A perfect setting for a perfect family holiday.

The Bradbury family. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 26th July - 2nd August 2009.

Lovely cottage and location. Coverack is a delightful village and we look forward to a return visit. Thank you.

Porthbeer Cove, Kynance Cove and Porthcurno (simply breathtaking!).Gweek Seal Sanctuary well worth a visit as well as Roskilly's ice cream farm. The Bay Hotel was a nice escape for Mum & Dad while the grandparents babysat & The Paris Hotel was good for a meal out for all. Don't want to go home now but hope to be back!

Cheryl & Jason. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 27th September - 4th October 2009.

Stunning cottage. Ideal location for discovering the local area. Loved waking up to the views from our bedroom and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. Very cosy at night, lovely open fire, very romantic. Worth every bump of my head on the low door frames ha ha! Will definately be returning. Thanks very much.

Mr & Mrs Partridge. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 10th - 17th October 2009.

Thank you so much, we have thoroughly enjoyed our all-too-short week! Our stay was very nostalgic as we knew the area from 50 years ago - and Coverack is as lovely as ever. We will remember it all on our return to Cape Town.

Carole & Giles. Staying at Minstrel Cottage Coverack 24th October 2009.

After a long illness Minstrel was the place to recoup. The cottage was so cosy and comfortable and the weather for the past two weeks has been a real bonus. The sun  shone every day. In the evening a log fire was much enjoyed. Coverack has more places to eat this time, the food has been to a good standard so has kept cooking to a minimum. Giles has enjoyed Elizabeth's pasties, fruit pies and choc cake. These along with 4 hour coastal walks he has been in heaven. Thank you for an enjoyable holiday. We will be back.

Mandy,Steve & Jesse. Staying at Minstrel Cottage 28th March - 4th April 2010.

We have holiday'd in Cornwall for the past 13 years and this is the best cottage that we have stayed in - All the personal touches really count - The welcome cream teas, dressing gowns, arrival pack (prior to arriving), welcome card and "ice cubes". The cottage is a delight and location stunning and we hope to come back (and also look at your other cottages) real soon. Thank you for such a great stay!
